When Horatio Spafford first penned the words of the song, “It is Well with my Soul”, he wrote them on a piece of hotel stationery.
Those words were later set to music by Philip P. Bliss. The hymn is sung all over the world. Today, groups often sing the song in the same house where the family may have sung it, many years ago.
